About the exhibition:
Drawing on the exhibition title as a departure point, the shadow theatre included photography, drawing, installation, performance and video by 7 early-career artists/artist collectives. Some artists examined psychological blind spots, the shadow side of human nature and the seemingly innate desire to be fooled and entertained whilst others critiqued hot the individual operates in social and corporate systems and ideas around a constructed persona.
