About the exhibition:

Few materials are as compelling, duplicitous or as difficult to work with. Nevertheless, glass, in all its forms, makes our lives more liveable. Intrinsic Properties / Inherent Vice brings a small group of artists together who deploy this tricky substance and its breadth of meaning.

Participating artists:
Stevie Fieldsend, Michaela Gleave, Anna McMahon, Kenzee Patterson, Patrick Pound, Yhonnie Scarce and Sandra Selig.

Partner exhibtion: ONTOGENESIS

Four recent graduates of the ANU Glass Workshop have found ways to expand their practice by incorporating other materials and processes. As emerging professionals, they represent a growing wave of artists who are promoting the extension of craft-based skills within a broader context.

Participating artists: Ngaio Fitzpatrick, Kate Nixon, John White and Madisyn Zabel

Commissioned by the Ausglass Conference; supported by Australia Council for the Arts.
